Great success has been made in the development of air refreshing, distribution of comfortable air currents, intelligent humanization, and household central air conditioning systems. By utilizing theories of the human body's physiology, theories of airflow field and of research into human comfort, and getting a large number of airflow distributing data?? and using the emulation principle, Changhong technologists carried on a large number of simulation experiments on the distribution of airflow in natural environments, such as at the seashore, forest, mountain valleys, plains, etc. These simulation experiments were carried out in the national-level "experimental center for environmental simulation", a highly developed technological center at Changhong, and then the best results were used in the Changhong’s "natural core" 2, that distributes the airflow steadily and homogenously to each corner of an entire room. The whole series of products of Changhong's natural wind air conditioners including the window type, wall-mounted type, floor-standing type and the inverter type connect sophisticated and highly scientific technology with the real needs of everyday life so as to make the home as comfortable and as natural a place to be.

Ordinary air conditioners start the health function and purify the air only in COOL or HEAT operation. Changhong Natural Wind air conditioner series can refresh the air besides performing the cooling and heating operation, depending on the advanced technology of the stand-alone air refresh operation and the usage of an air anti-mould filter, Photo-reversal deodorant filter, active carbon filter, LTC filter and an ion generator.

After analyzing and studying the stability and homogeneity of the comfortable temperature T=T(x,y,z) by using Three Factors, Doctor Jin Li, manager of the Changhong air conditioner company, pointed out that the research for CDA (Comfortable Distribution Air) air conditioner is the best way for China air conditioning to pursue and achieve an equal level of advanced technology as the rest of the world in this field. Doctor Ming Zhong presented the TCI （ Thermal Comfort Index ） equation which analyzed the factors affecting a human being's general comfort such as temperature, ambient radiation temperature, wind speed, activity and human clothing, plus humidity. He advanced our knowledge of the heat exchange model between a human being and his environment. On this basis, Changhong developed the first Two-way air-discharge floor-standing A/C exclusively in the world. Together with an angled-type ceiling cassette air conditioner and multi-way air-discharge air conditioner, Changhong Company has formed and produced a complete set of comfortable airflow air conditioners, which have solved the problem of creating a comfortable temperature in a 3-D space.

According to the market demand and on the basis of the technologies of Sanyo and Toshiba, the Changhong Company has independently developed a unit air conditioner and a household central air conditioning system, and this has concentrated the advantages of the traditional central air conditioning system and room air conditioner. The household central air conditioning system is suitable for villas, apartments, and regional air conditioning in office buildings, large and medium domestic houses and recreation centers etc. The Changhong household central air conditioning system includes air-cooled type water cooling (heating) systems, and air-cooled type air cooling (heating) systems as well as auxiliary products. The unit air conditioner is suitable for places with a greater demand for cooling and heating such as meeting rooms, restaurants, small cinemas, marketplaces and libraries.

The Changhong air conditioners are spot tested and inspected strictly before leaving the factory and the model type experiment is also held regularly. And only those qualified products are allowed to put into the market.
